Pilates Class

Pilates Class

Reset. Recharge. Recalibrate. And regain your focus.

How It Works

The LGCY Pilates Session is designed as a mindful experience that happens in a group, but focuses on flow states on an individual level.

Led by a certified instructor, the class combines controlled movement, breathing and body awareness, at a level and intensity adapted to the group. No previous pilates experience, exceptional coordination or high level of fitness is required: the aim is to create an environment in which everyone can participate comfortably while still learning something new and finding an appropriate level of challenge.

Depending on what the input prior the prior session focused on, the activity can be connected more explicitly to themes such as focus, control, attention and the relationship between challenge and ability.

What is pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact movement practice centred around controlled, precise movements, breathing, stability and body awareness. Rather than speed or competition, the emphasis is on performing movements consciously and with control.

Why is it a great vehicle for flow and team spirit?

Pilates naturally demands concentration: attention shifts away from everyday distractions and towards breathing, movement and immediate feedback from the body.

As a team experience, Pilates offers something deliberately different from competitive activities. Participants slow down, focus and move together in a shared setting — creating space for presence & collective energy. It works particularly well for teams who usually work in fast-paced environments and are looking to reset in an inclusive, wellbeing-oriented environment.

It is possible to offer both pilates and padel, making for an activity that combines sports and competition with wellbeing and mindfulness.
